HIGHLIGHTS

Google HK Office Tour 🏢

As Dentsu works closely with Google, we interns had the amazing opportunity to tour their office. Can you believe they have a designated nap room and even a dedicated massage room section? What an incredible workplace!

Photoshoot Model 📸

I was selected to model for an advertising photoshoot for Yakiniku, a Japanese BBQ restaurant. Unfortunately, my photos weren't chosen in the final selection, but it was still an exciting experience!

Fitness Class 💪

My team and I attended a fitness class together for charity! It was both hilarious and fun to see my coworkers (who are usually desk-bound) getting active and breaking a sweat! A great experience for a great cause!

Dimsum with My Team 🥢

Twice a month, my team and I would go out for dim sum together! It’s such a traditional Hong Kong experience, and I had an amazing time learning more about the local dim sum culture and traditions. Plus, the food was always delicious!

Watching the Lead UI Designer 🎨

Watching the lead UI designer at work was incredible—she was unbelievably fast and precise! I was in complete awe of her skill and efficiency. It was truly inspiring to witness! (this was the only photo I had of her 😢)

No.2 Ranked Pacman Player 🎮

For a short time, I was ranked number 2 in Hong Kong for the Asahi Pacman mobile game, which I had the chance to help work on with my team. A few days later, someone beat my score, but it was a fun run while it lasted! (this is my coworker who was trying to beat my highscore 😂)

REFLECTION

Overall Experience

My first in-office agency job was both educational and eye-opening, providing valuable insight into how design processes unfold in real-world settings. I gained hands-on experience in conducting research, developing wireframes, and user testing while collaborating with a talented team. The fast-paced environment taught me how to quickly adapt to new tools, evolving project scopes, and feedback, enhancing my flexibility. I also developed stronger communication skills, learning to manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project goals. This experience sharpened my attention to detail, improved my time management, and strengthened my ability to think creatively and solve problems under pressure. I want to give a big shoutout to my amazing team, the other interns, my deskmates (Akira, Betsy, Sandra) and my boss Dennis!
